Quite wide open and generously fruited with soft, oily texture and a slight tang of volatility.

This wine is in its infancy. If I had it to do over again, I would wait at least 2-3 more years...

Poached pear, nutmeg, clove. Long, powerful. Give it some air. But I want to give my other bottles a few years.

Wow. Just wow. As I am sure others have observed, this is a very Burgundian chard from Oregon. Specifically, it is classic Meursault with a good acidity, structured, and impeccable balance. Finish is long and creamy, more expressive after it develops in glass. Holds up to the best meursaults I have had.
