Nov 11th, 2015This is showing intense fresh fruit on the nose, remaining fucused yet ripe with sweet spice tones. Cherry, raspberry, exotic spice, menthol and hints of pine rise up from the glass. On the palate, it's juicy with ripe-almost sappy-red fruit and a noticeable weight that's perfectly offset by vibrant acidity. Cherry pit and spice linger long on the finish with a twang of mouthwatering acidity adding juicy nuance.

Feb 26th, 2015Absolutely delicious bottle of 2012 Barbera d'Alba from Bartolo Mascarello that had layer upon layer of delicious flavor. If you have some bottles of this, try one now and then wait a few years for the rest!
