The fizz is different. It took a minute. Enjoyed the mouth feel later after a little of the light carbonation subsided. Funky nose the burned off and sweet red fruit came through in the end.

Nov 15th, 2017Once opened and you let the funky aged meat notes blow off, you end up with a surprisingly delicious red. Burst of tart cherries, cranberries, rhubarb, violets, brown earth. Picked this up at Maria Teresa's Cantina in Barolo. Good stuff. And cheap. Geeky Somms love it.
