Top Notes For
Bought this one without prior knowledge or recommendations and I hit the jackpot. An excellent mature wine with distinct taste and wonderful aroma. Pairs well with beef. I'll get more if I can find it.

Aug 28th, 20162014v. Fruit forward, and approachable nero d'avola. Deep ruby color. The nose is full of the full range of dark fruits: black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, plum. Plum and prune hit the palette, with a little earth, spice, and a hint of eucalyptus/bay/herb on the back end. Tannins and acid are both reigned in for this type of wine. Not a bad value for $8. 13.5% ABV.
