Light reddish in color with a light pink rim.
On the nose, blueberries, cherries, strawberries, earth, leather, spices, light greens and black pepper.
Medium bodied and soft, with medium minus acidity.
Fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, light vanilla, coke, sage, spices, herbes and white pepper.
Medium plus on the finish with no tannins whatsoever and almonds.
An average, fruit forward, drinkable red, that is better with food.
I paired it with Sushi, but not the spicy kind. (The Sauvignon Blanc, I also had, was much better with the sushi).
Easy drinking and good for parties.
13% alcohol by volume.
