What all Zin want to be but only Carlisle and a few select others can because they are from original old vines 85+ years old. Herbal dill and mint complicate a berry compote nose of blue and blackberries. The palate is amazingly supple and elegant, with god flavor depth and concentration. Starts off with a clear eucalyptus note, although that fades with air. This is holding up well at age 10, showing mature black fruits backed by a hint of licorice. I’d drink this over the next few years if I had more.
