Attractive earthy complexity mingles with woodsy oak spice (no vanilla) atop the ripe red fruit. The 14+% abv sticks out awkwardly, particularly on the finish.

Ruby color, not much of an odor or distinctive notes.. Very balanced pinot, good body with a slight pinch of fruit at the end that is uplifting with minimal if any aftertaste. Side note: I actually got this 2013 vintage from a local liquor store on closeout. This place is mostly a scotch forward store near foxborough, ma. They need room and put wines on clearance. I think I walked away paying 15 for this bottle...drinks like 30 bucks. Cheers
