Crystal coloration, with hints of yellow colored deep within. Nose is actually prominent, with notes of tart stonefuit, specifically peach, African cucumber, and sharp acidity despite the age. Palate doesn’t show any age or loss of acidic zing! Fresh and dry, with a long tingle that lasts long after the sip. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach & lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with toasty mineral and spice notes, will continue to age well. Small production. RSV has under 200 acres of vineyards in 5 Carneros locations & a winery in the Stags Leap District. The wines are 100% organic. Ruby with berry, cherry & spice aromas. On the palate flavors of wild strawberry & cherry with complex spice, citrus, oak and balanced acidity.
