80% Sangiovese and 30% Cab.
Nose of Earth, tar, tomato leaf, and cherry. Bright red fruit on the palate with a touch of herb and earth. Medium tannins. The finish goes on for quite a while. An inexpensive wine from an excellent producer. Well made and an ideal pairing for pizza and simple tomato sauce based dishes. Very nice.
