Straight forward cab sauv from the oldest winery in The Americas (est.1597) in El Valle de Parras. Very fruit-forward, not oaky like I expected. A welcome gift from the folks at Rancho Pescadero 😁

My first wine from Mexico. Subtle aromatics that are varietally correct and mild pyrazines. Salty. A wonderful balance is struck between body, tannin and acid. Decanted for an hour.

Good and balanced cab if you dencant for 1 hour. Nice burnt sugar finish.
