Really enjoyable and a nice surprise for domestic Sangiovese. 15% abv is high but not noticeable on the palette. Ripe red cherry, licorice and baked rhubarb. Nice alternative for those who like new world Grenache or Zinfandel

Its succulent balance of fruit sweetness and acidity and its excellent back-end grip make it a flexible dinner companion. $20.00 (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, October 2018)
