Isenhower Cellars

Road Less Traveled Cabernet Franc 2018

Columbia Valley, 413 cases produced. Aging is about right, flavors of cola and spearmint with a mildly tannic finish, alongside some blackberry, raspberry and cherry. 30% new French oak is apparent in nose and mouth and just in balance, with decent acid and just a lingering aftertaste of white pepper. Grapes from Wallula and Dineen Vineyards, 51/49 split. — 10 months ago

Tamarack Cellars

Wahluke Slope Cabernet Franc 2013

This was opened a few days back the 2013 Tamarack Cellars Wahluke Slope Cabernet Franc from Walla Walla, Washington.

On the nose is black cherry, blackberry, red plum, green bell pepper, herbaceous and wet gravel.

On the palate is raspberries, strawberry, red plum, black currant, green bell pepper, milk chocolate, fall leaves and crushed gravel.

This wine is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + firm grippy tannins that gives you a long red fruit crushed gravel finish. This weekend try and do something special with a friend or loved one. Enjoy some wine and some good food and stay healthy and safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Wahluke Slope Merlot

For a merlot, good balance. Still a little jammy for me but good for a Merlot. — a month ago

Seven Falls Cellars

Wahluke Slope Merlot 2020

Deep ruby in color; blackberries, black cherries, and cedar on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like plums, strawberry jam, violets, and clay pots with a long finish. Nellie loves it! And so do I. — 9 months ago
