This is a firecracker of a wine! Very soft and open with a enormous length. Love the fat, spicy taste. This is pure silk and now very enjoyable.

super juicy fruit, good balance, horse saddle, only little herbal, licorice, smooth and full. bit apple core bitterness.

Tannic and thin. I'm leaving it out overnight. Hopefully better tomorrow. Disappointing at this price point. Maybe I'm missing something but I just can't find it.

Mar 14th, 2015Rampolla may be making the best wines in Tuscany! The Chyanti is great, this Sammarco is extraordinary and the 100 point Alceo may be the best wine from Tuscany for 2010.
