Love this type of wine. Nuanced and elegant, every sip revealing something new while the wine evolves in the glass. Wine making at its best. — 2 months ago
Presented as an ‘orange’ wine it has some oxidative character but not too much… hint of petroleum and really well balanced. Blend of trebbiano, chard, traminer, Malvasia, and SB. Biodynamic. I like! — 2 years ago
Raised in ‘cocciopesto’ which is an amphora kind of barrel based on clay and lime. Very fruit forward, soft tannins. Way better than I expected. Good job! — 4 years ago
@Delectable this is the Donna Liu. First vintage of Rampolla’s 100% merlot. Hints of a Pomerol but more fruit forward embedded with some cassis hints. Good tannic backbone which proves the best is yet to come. Castello dei Rampolla rocks! — 4 years ago
