This is the best Sangiovese I have ever had in my life!!!!!!!!! Im ordering a case! Ive been so bored with wine lately!!!! Have you ever felt this way. Well, this is like a sexy woman dressed in a black dress with stilettos... okay. Rich, deep flavors of rich dark berries and chocolate. Very dry and velvety finish. Love in a glass!!!!! I call it hot sex in a glass!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a fantastic wine for a California grown Sangiovese. Castello di Amorosa has done an incredible job. The color is spot on for an Italian sangiovese although its California. The color is dark purple with a hint of brown. The bouquet is fresh baked rhubarb pie with the edges of the crust slightly over baked. The initial palate is blackberry and raspberry. There is lots of spice and oak. The finish is modertly dry and has a long trail of Granny Smith apples and fresh mint. DELICIOUS! More more more please!!!!!!!!
