Castello di Querceto
"The Oak-Sheltered Vineyards" Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Very dry, grassy, raspberries, but smooths out considerably after an hour or so. Not too memorable, but fun to drink. Postscript: we didn’t know that a Sangiovese/Chianti would benefit from a 2-hour decanting process, so I might not have correctly assessed this wine. If we get it again, it’ll receive proper treatment.

Had this at the Labor Day barbecue. I never saw this happened before. Everybody clink glasses and made a terrible face and dumped it in the grass. I picked it out because there was a unicorn on the label. So serves me right
