Great level of maturity here, classic aged Brunello. Nice weight, tannins and acid offer posture, shows the warmth of the vintage in its generosity and open knit appeal. Warm core of muddled plum, dried cherry, tar, wood smoke, worn leather, pipe tobacco, asian spices, amaro, balsamic. Ample, juicy, elegant and fantastic with food.

This Brunello is from a great vineyard in Siena. Crushed flowers, molasses, smoke, and spices on the nose. Nice long finish. Would like to try it again in 5-10.
