This is a really great wine from the Columbia Valley, WA. The guy told me this was the only winery in the U.S. growing Sangiovese and that the vines are 40 years old. Don't know how true that is. Lots of expressive red fruits and great tannins.

Pretty straight up. Starts low on the palette then disappears. Wouldn't normally like it but it works got a Sangiovese.

Reminds me of the Sangiovese wines we had in Tuscany; really enjoyed the taste!
