Bramble, gamey meats, and general funkiness in the nose give way to a core of deep red fruit. Low alcohol, but not a lot of acidity.

May 21st, 2016Rustic and gamey style of wine with flavors of dark red berries, peppercorn, and Forrest brush. Well balanced until the finish that gets a bit a acidic; unfortunately,the fruit tapers off around mid palate. Really close to being a very nice wine, still nice for the price.
