My last bottle of this vintage, and I’m going to miss it. Comfort food for wine lovers, though some of the recent Caymus vintages are too contrived.

Still very big and bold and borderline over tannic and grainy but beginning to develop secondary characteristics. Tell-tale Special Select mocha and warm chocolate notes, bramble--really rounding out. This should hit it's stride in a couple years.
