This wine was divisive in our Turkey dinner group. Three of them had tasted the wine at the winery on its release and felt it had lost its glory. Others felt it drank as a perfectly respectable Cab Sauv.

2008. Bizarre color in glass. If served blind, color looks light red, almost like Pinot. Nice red fruit with a bit of volcanic rock taste. I would never have guess cab. Has a light Syrah or Grenache profile with delicate feel to it. weird but it is good. Make you think about varietal character in different regions and style.
