Previous notes apply. This is elite stuff. Needs a bit of air for the fruit to creep out from the bramble and earth. I hope I have more of these stashed away somewhere

This was really something. From vines planted by Steve Kistler 30 years ago in northern Sonoma coast and near some other heavy hitting sites. Manages the neat trick of intensity without heaviness. Redolent of small berries and ocean breeze, bursting with black cherry, strawberry and rhubarb, dried flowers and spice with a whole cluster herbal quality. Was a little afraid I’d jumped the gun but nah this is ready

Still a baby, but drank it over 3 days. At first it was very much closed. By day 3 it was showing some great black cherry, baking spice, and a green vegetal quality that was really interesting. Looking forward to seeing this one develop over the years.
