Beautiful crystalline pale green/yellow color, with more golden hues. Light to medium bodied, with a prominent mineral nose, with strong green apple, slightly briny, with ripe yellow notes subtle and deep, with very well hidden baking spices. The acidity has already softened significantly, but there’s still a lingering energy there. Very dry, with hints of old shells, yellow fruits, even some jammy elements, even yellow apple, with only a hint of funk, but it’s all pure. — 12 days ago
This is the Paratus, not Martin Ray. Drinking way too early but who cares. Gave it a 4 hrs decant. Light handed, subtle cab. Some gorgeous notes on the nose. A few more years to mellow out the acid will do this wonders — 5 months ago
Consistent with last bottle from a few years ago. In a great spot. Softer, rounder and more fruit forward than the Sonoma coast bottling tried side by side — 5 months ago
Not as good as the bottle we had 2 years ago. All of the great lemon peel and minerality and texture and acid are still there - but this is oddly lacking on the mid palate, so you get a nice entry and exit but not a lot of meat in the middle. — 2 months ago
