One of the better (best?) Italian Syrahs I’ve had. Totally integrated, medium bodied, delightful fruit — 15 days ago
My first Grace Family - their second bottling - and absolutely on point. Would put this more on the extravagant side but with polish and it was just what I needed! — a month ago
First time with Spottswoode and a 2000 at that. This was an…experience. First sip, I was convinced it was turned. A totally off nose. But after about 30 mins, it blew off and the wine arrived. From there, all tertiary notes, beautifully integrated. Would love to try a slightly younger bottle as this felt past its prime. — 2 months ago
Ready to go out of the gates. Decanted with quite a bit of sediment. Delicious fruit with the classic rhone garrigue and a touch of heat. Good pairing with Peruvian chicken — 15 days ago
Have not found an aged CDP I haven’t liked. This was beautiful. Perfect spot. — a month ago
1st time trying this. Incredibly elegant. Maybe too elegant, at this stage. All rough edges have smoothed out, but hasn’t yet rounded into its older age. Maybe caught this in an in between stage. For the price, it’s up against some very stiff competition. Excited to try again. — a month ago

Barbera Nebbiolo blend. Very mouth coating, plum, still quite a bit of tannin. Not as giving as the CdP we had alongside. — 15 days ago
Full bodied Gigondas, paired alongside lamb ragu. Stood up great to the food. Think the wine could have used another hour decant to really show itself. — 21 days ago
Delicious. So fresh, beautiful fruit, incredibly elegant. Basically no tannin whatsoever, which makes me wonder about longevity. — a month ago

This was fine, better on day 2. Nice citrus undertones to a darker fruited pinot. Better in 5 more yrs — 13 hours ago
