Have not had an “a-ha” moment with these wines and hence, have stopped buying. What am I missing? — 2 months ago
Half bottle shared on day 2 by a friend. What a friend :-). Just delicious. 10 yrs old and totally on point. Fruit is so present and delicious — a month ago
Blind bbq pairing. Immediately called Syrah. Ferrous and meat nose. Slight funk on the palate. Very good — a month ago
Came highly touted by critics and totally delivered. Hit beautiful high points on the nose, fruit and sweetness back up by tension that lights everything up. Total winner — 2 months ago
Gorgeous color. Super vibrant, great acid. — a month ago

First time with Spottswoode and a 2000 at that. This was an…experience. First sip, I was convinced it was turned. A totally off nose. But after about 30 mins, it blew off and the wine arrived. From there, all tertiary notes, beautifully integrated. Would love to try a slightly younger bottle as this felt past its prime. — 24 days ago
