Always love this. Tends toward mushroom, earth. Nice fruit on the finish — 18 days ago
Beautiful old wine but tasted so young and alive. Classic barolo depth with velvet delivery — a month ago
Drank right after Dominus. Similar in style, perhaps even more finessed. Absolutely old world in character — 15 days ago
Tropical fruits on open. Nice weight. — 16 days ago
Opened on TG. Even with 6-7 hours, it never really opened up. Tight, high acid. Recorked and gave it until Saturday and what a transformation. Mushroom, earth, leather, with fruit still present. Happy to have had the second experience — 21 days ago
First Dominus. Vegetal, blue fruited nose. Tannins nicely integrated and alive, with some ripeness on the fruit. Beautiful — 15 days ago
Same experience as the Salvioni Rosso, but even tighter here. 2 days later, it’s giving much more. Nose is still subdued, more leather. Brighter fruit and spice. Going to give the rest of these the years of rest they deserve — 21 days ago
Group called chianti off the bat. Good but lacking some depth to be special — a month ago

All the ingredients here, just lacking punch and verve. Got meaningfully better alongside pate. Guigal mid level wine. — 8 days ago
