You’ll hear wine geeks throw around the word “nervosity” from time to time, and this is a perfect example of a wine that displays that thrumming electrical current of acidity and sappy piney lemony zip that earns the adjective. Gorgeous wet pavement welded to neon lemon pith and pink grapefruit all dusted with fleur de sel. Utterly mouthwatering and delicious. This is the remains of a sample bottle that I’ve been nursing for a few days since tasting it and it continues to be fantastically fresh and demonstrative of a long life ahead of it - provided you have the willpower to wait that long.

Classic TG. Despite it’s nerve and pristine character, there is a pleasant and detailed roundness beneath the brisk acid. This coupled w/ TG’s saline backbone always give this a Chablis sensibility. Going to let this hang out for a day to unwind. Day 2: more giving today, still a lightening bolt down the palate. Fresh yuzu, ripe lemon, sea spray, some lovely floral notes and crushed mint lingering in the background.

Another fine edition of this. Perhaps a touch more rounded than some years but definitely still a minerally, acid driven chard.

This how really smoothed out with age and I really like it now. The acidity before I think was over powering. Delightful.
