Absolutely captivating. Plum and cherry pie which evolved into a more brambly boysenberry, with a background of cocoa powder, ground coffee, anisette aromas. Packs a punch--intense black fruit with licorice and an earthy bitterness. Already showing depth and secondary complexity--one of my favorite Napa cabs to date!

On the nose I am getting notes of plum, blackberry, blueberry, smokey oak and a minerals. On the palate there are dark fruit, Black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, black licorice, herbal notes, and a touch of oak all in well balanced harmony. The acidity is bright and vibrant at medium + and chewy medium + Tannin. This all comes together in a pleasing long lasting finish. The breakdown of the blend is 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 8% Malbec, and 7% Petit Verdot.
