Conundrum Proprietary California Red Blend

The blend is somewhat of a mystery but has Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Petite Syrah grapes, maybe a splash of something else from year to year. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits and an array of spices. On the palate flavors of black plum, raspberry and cacao with notes of toasty oak, baking spices and earthy notes. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Chill in frog for about 15-20 minutes before serving. Pair this with grilled pork or bbq meal.

Kind of sweet. Okay.

Ok again…. It works in a pinch

Deep purple in color; cassis, blackberries, and graphite on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like creme de cassis, blackberry syrup, and raisins with a long finish. Definitely some residual sugar. Not very complex. Needs more acidity. Not a fan. It's overpriced at $20. Nellie didn't like it either.

Dry. Flavors of baked blackberry, vanilla, licorice. Rich, velvety tannins. High alcohol.
