Intriguing currant and berry aromatics. Nice acidity and tiny tannins with a very pleasant dry, earthiness. VERY nice wine.

Nice Bordeaux blend (53% Cab Sav, 43% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot). Very dark, nice bouquet but not a great deal of finish. Quite a bit of sediment too but went very well with roast beef.

Reserved aromas, reductive strength but as it opened the tannins smoothed. Nice wine but didn't take the time decant. Has years ahead, but young now.

Young... I could have waited longer but couldn't resist. It is an awesome wine. Love the oak and the soft tannins. With the right amount of air... It was just right. Great potential for another two years of ageing, I'd say...
