On the nose this wine is ripe raspberries and it carries through to the palate. It is structured on soft tannins that dissipate on the palate after 45 minutes decanted. As the wine opens I get a hint of violet mixed with dark fruit. This is a beautiful wine to drink now & I suspect it will remain so another 3-5 years.
