Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Very subtle notes of plum and bright cherry, nose smells like a jam punch, yet on the palate is more decadent with tannic structure. Great pairing with a fat steak 😉

Approachable now but needs time. Formidable array of dark fruit flavours supported by firm tannins, leaving a long dry finish. Excellent.

Sort of an anomaly. Rich and powerful with deep fruit, extract and tannin, yet starting to dry out and showing pruney and dried herbs. Probably best to consume over the next 5 years.

Solid steakhouse Bordeaux. +1 with the steak, but goes well across the entire meal. Black cherries, red currant, tobacco—all finishing long.
