Mid weight, initially elegant but bacon comes through during the finish. Quite pleasant.

Ripe blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, wet black earth and gravel, some leather and baking spices. However, thin on body and fruit flavor. It's the vintage for them. I've had some pretty good 07's. It's just not the Beychevelle. You can drink it now and it will still evolve some over the next 5 years but not convinced it gets much better.

All note say it no where near ready - but double decanted recently this is very good - no doubt it will develop further

very nice wine already showing its age. bricking in the glass, lovely older bordeaux profile, very well integrated tannins and oak for a smooth palate

Très belle réussite sur ce millésime 2007. Élégant soyeux connoté merlot prêt à boire. Belle bouteille à déguster aujourd'hui un peu atypique de l'appellation Saint Julien.
