Château Carbonnieux
Grand Cru Classé de Graves Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend
A nice pessac from a round vintage. My first red from this chateau.

Jul 23rd, 2014Tasted October 29, 2015.
Cork in perfect condition.
Brilliant, ripped cherry red color, bright red ring.
Closed bouquet, leather, tobacco, spices.
Straightforward attack, structurated, pleasant tannins. Blackcurrant, leather, wood, coffe.
Long caudalies (>60''), tobacco, spices, some pleasant bitterness.
IMPRESSION: Discordance between a light bouquet and a powerful taste. Very pleasant 17 years-old bottle, probably opened 3-4 years too late. Quite enjoyable wine nevertheless.
