Wow. Great white wine full of bold fruit and wood with a buttery taste that melts in your mouth. Definitely would get this again. — 2 years ago
Pretty stark contrast between this and the Chateau Carbonnieux drank alongside. Much more regal, linear and mature. On the nose, mature dark fruit, forest floor, cassis, leather. Similar in the mouth. Some tannins with good acid. Needed about 2 hours in a decanter to fully realize potential. A proper and mature Pauillac. — 5 years ago

Velvety smooth. Fruit and pencil shavings. Decanted from an imperial 6 liter bottle for an Independence Day dinner on Cow. — 3 years ago
On the nose, muted dark cassis, wild dark, brambly berries, dry stems, pepper, loamy soils, blackberry cola and dark fresh florals. The mouthfeel is big and lush. Tannins are soft and round. The fruits are very ripe. Blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, black plum, black raspberries, dark chocolate, mocha powder, salted caramel, spice-box, soft leather, tobacco with ash, crushed dry rocks, stones, black tea & dark fresh florals. The finish is rich, lush and round fruits with just the right touch of earth. As well, the acidity is very good. Super tropical mostly Passionfruit and some New Zealand style Pyrazines. Hint Banana and Mango. Almost over the top. Who new wine could taste like this. Must be genetics. Was in the top 10 of the top 100 Wine Spectator List some time ago. — 10 days ago
