Château Clos du Moulin
Médoc Cru Bourgeois Red Bordeaux Blend
Hugely fruited nose at this point. Big deep cassis. Some smoke and tobacco underneath. Bing cherry as well. Nice nose. Round. Vivid. Palate is ripe and juicy with terrific freshness and thrust. Very pure and clean. Lovey note of tobacco leaf on the finish with some nice minerality. Very well made. No rush. Can last and improve 10 years.

Oct 9th, 2018See previous note from almost 3 yrs ago - still going strong - improving even - fruit took on a baked quality, but so so fragrant, so in the pocket - really struts for a Cru Bourgeois!

Oct 31st, 2023@Lyle Fass thank you for this wine! Big, authentic intoxicating Medoc nose immediately upon opening w/Bing cherry, cassis, boysenberry and raspberry beautifully integrated with savory, bay leaf, mossy tree bark, mushroom, sweet damp Earth and vein of minerality. Seductive inky & opaque, mid to heavyweight, fluid luxurious mid palate with solid tannic structure clenching tightly on finish. Strutted w/roasted leg of lamb. Long life ahead - bump for QPR
