2000 vintage. Drunk in 2021. Excellent, full bodied, black fruit, slight cigar box, slight cinnamon. Beautiful experience. Not overly viscous or filled with sediment as wines of this age can exhibit.

Thanks for picking this up for me @Scott Petrus. Pretty wine that’s still holding on to life, but on the backside of peak. Dusty violet and dark chocolate notes.

Nose of mocha, vanilla, black currant, mushrooms... very nice 18 year old right bank nose. The palate is very fluid, and more on the length than on the width. Nice red and black Forrest fruits, melted tannins. Long blackberry finish. Very interesting wine !
