Wow, what a funky and crazy white. These Jura wines are kickin'. So much "barrel room funk" on the nose with fresh orchard fruit on the palate. A driving minerality cutting through the entire thing, this has a lot of life and a lot of complexity. Not a "daily drinker," but definitely a thinker. 70% Chardonnay, 30% Savagnin. 2009 vintage, aged until 2014.

Vibrant, fresh & energetic. Lemon notes on the palate with some sherry/nutty aromatics adding complexity. Descriptors aside, this is just a beautiful bottle of wine. 2009 vintage bottled in 2014.

Apr 2nd, 20202009 is approachable. A good introduction to Savignin and Jura. Quite bright acid. The nuttiness and gras of the Savignin show and the Chardonnay smoothed the edges.
