An incredibly powerful, oxidative wine from Jura. The intensely nutty, salty, oily, honied flavors were magical with the “Pastured chicken, preserved lemon, garlic confit” dish which tasted braised and white-saucey.

Fascinating. Like a white port or sherry. Nearly amber colored. Oxidative and reductive. Lots of wood. Hardly acidic at first but as it opens acidity goes to plus. Finishes shorter than I’d like. — 3 months ago
