Bordeaux blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of blackberry, black licorice, cedar and violets. Blackberry, black plum and blueberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of vanilla, baking spices and tobacco. Very long, smooth and earthy finish. Velvety tannins and medium-plus bodied. Nicely rounded and complex. Thanks for the bottle, Kase.

This, whilst being compared to a Medoc, is way less complex and it doesn’t carry over too much taste. It could be seen as a good light finish or something a bit short. Either way, to me, it is a calling for more liquid to be drank. It is pretty dry. It has a musty but flowery note.
