This 89 is clearly in its last few years of life, but man what a life! Perfectly integrated, still has some fruit but the leather, tobacco and earth are the real deal.

Musty vanilla with tons of ripe fruit on the nose. Tannins were completely and PERFECTLY developed. Long, smooth finish. This wine was beyond my capacity to describe.
