Rich and concentrated showing excellent depth and complexity along with mid-palate intensity. A superb vintage for Beaucastel and CDP. Kirsch cherries, black raspberry liquor, damp earth, red flowers and balanced acidity. Finishes with excellent length while tannins continue to retain grip and firmness. Lots of life left but drinking beautifully now. 90 min decant minimum. I’d say similar to 95 and 98 for them in terms of structure and age-ability.

Plummy Grenache with leather and tobacco. Very balanced with good depth and clarity. Long and good.

Wish I had a chance to get more of this, with less surrounding bottles and in a better state of sobriety. Lots of that garrigue, smoked bbq and all spice thing.

Like caramel dipped cherries, thick and grippy. A ten y/o baby. So much Mourvèdre power and big tannins. Fun to drink but could still use more time

2005 vintage. Ripe and caressing yet showing positive restraint with still present and youthfully unresolved tannins. Ripe and nearly mature dark berries add baldness and balance on the smokey, mineral-driven and concentrating finish. In a great spot right now.

A bit surprised by the bretty characteristic. Funk is a good word.
