Drinking this 2008 in 2016. Nice warm cherry nose with a little pepper and a pleasant light red colour. Smooth texture but still tannins strong enough to tweak the cheeks. Good cherry fruit with some calming plum / damson - a 50/50 mix of fleurie and burgundy you could say. Probably best with some food like a good bolognaise and certainly needs decanting.
