Vintage 2014 | Blind tasted. Só playful! With this wine I was fooled myself... thought it to be a Cru de Beaujolais, because it was expressive and frivolous.

Per Eric de Saint-Victor, if opening young decant for a day. Will close down at about 6 years, then open up after 7. After 14 years will lighten with “white fruit”.
So I guess I’ll revisit in 2021+

Sour cherry, licorice, garrigue, earth, and a strong finish. Excellent Pibarnon as always. As Anita Ward said, you can ring my bell😏

Nov 17th, 20192014 Bandol Pibarnon is a bit shy to open up. Man but once it’s opens it unveils all the beautiful characters of a delicious Bandol. Plumy, jammy, prune with tar notes are awesome. Go warriors btw.

This had a fantastic nose, but the palette and finish was a disappointment for the hype.
