Tart at first, but some air allowed more aromas to surface, the palate became more textured and balanced. Good flavor. Great summer wine.

2013 is an outstanding vintage for this wine. Very ripe red berry fruits, pepper and a lifted, lavender-like floral/herb element. Pretty refined on the palate except for some tannin that most any food will moderate. A screaming deal @ $11.99!
