I’ve been exploring Syrah lately. This was better than the Donelan we had recently, but the finish had more blue and black fruits than I like in my syrahs.

Aug 27th, 20202015 vintage. Really enjoyed this with lamb shanks. Great balance of dark fruit and not overpowering. Would buy again for sure.

Elegant with a ton of depth even in youth. I guess it surprising given the vintage and producer, but will continue to evolve and improve for years. I bought a few bottles with the intention of laying them down but it will be hard to stay away.
