A bit more oxidized than I would expect, but I'll take it.

This wine gets me every time. All the honey and oat funk with beautiful pear and quince fruit wrapped around it. A textural wonder and still had years left to develop. I just couldn't wait any longer.

What? Noord Hollander? Bright and rich to chalky minerals. (Schist, sandstone, slate) nutty, bready, with golden raisins, with that stinky anchovy thing of washed rinds. Rose tinted hay. Honeyed medusa head/stinkweed herbaceousness.
