Oh yes, this is superb burg. Power and intensity but such beautiful finesse. Minerals, citrus rind and subtle oak. Long flavours and rapier like youthful acid. Long future if no premox

This drinks well above its hierarchical stature. Not a shy wine this is full bodied, with excellent fruit purity. A good amount of oak but it suits this wine well as it stands perfectly side by side with the fruit and acids. A powerful finish that is bright, clean and pure. #lapaulee

Pop and pour, notes from 45 min open. Lovely, and my best bottle..also my last '12. On the nose: lemon, soft ginger, a touch of honey, some sour apple. On the palate: excellent acidity and density, mirroring the nose. Paired with baked whole branzino, stuffed with onions and herbs...yum.

Really good. Nice focus and fruit. Could use a few years for the wood to integrate.
