Vintage 2007 / very complex smell with cedar leather and liquorice. Good balance and nice acidity. This wine has tension and is very lively. It's proof that a dreamwine not neccesarily needs to be found in the dreamyears only 👍

Dec 22nd, 2018As good as I expected, it’s from Margaux. There’re some regions of wines in France (not just from the BIG four [or five] which can be missed, they just seldom be rated under 9. Nice to have some for celebration, we’d 6 and finished 3 of them when we have 20+ ppl, plus other good reds, whites, champagnes, and 21-year Scott whisky too.

2007 vintage on 25/26 and 27.3.17.
First day after 3hrs of air still closed and somewhat harsh. The second day however: WoW great wine. Fruit, berries and cocoa nose. Spices like cinnamon. Some leather. Long finish. The third day still pleasant but the WoW turned into smooth, silk, delicious!
