1991. Not an outstanding vintage. But a great wine

Yum

Light medium caramel core , light copper rim. Quite mature , with spiced creme brûlée , saffron , burnt sugar , some crystallised orange peel , desiccated coconut . Slightly monochrome . On the palate this is quite light , with quite high acidity and a burnt caramel bitterness . Medium sweetness only , quite refreshing acidity . Slightly bitter orange caramel finish . Drink now qnd over the next few years , won’t improve .

Pale gold and brown hue. Aromas of caramel, creme brûlée, pineapple and orange pith.! Tropical fruits, dried apricots, burnt sugar and orange blossoms.

Not the best showing of d'Yquem I've seen but still excellent.

Incredible. King of Sauternes. Honey and floral nose. Super rounded mouthfeel. Almost fatty. Honey and peaches. Slightly sweet aftertaste that lingers for a minute.

Honeysuckle, camomile tea, herbal notes. Elegant.
