Flat on the attack and dry on the mid palate, with cherries, blackberries, blueberries, plums, vanilla, oak, earth, dirt, cranberries, spices and black pepper.
Medium plus on the finish with full, round tannins and tart cherries.
This is a very nice Merlot. Young, but already balanced and elegant, but still not smooth.
Will be better in 3 to 5 years time.
Aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
