Soft and round notes of plum, black cherry, cassis, blackberry sauce, cedar, nutmeg, cardamom, pencil shavings, leather, and tobacco, with slightly chalky tannins and a medium(+) finish. Extremely lovely wine, especially at a price in the mid $30’s.
